AMY WINEHOUSE is planning to cover the tattoo of her ex's name, her tattooist has claimed.

Amy, 26, who divorced BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL last July, has "Blake's" inked above her heart.

Celebrity tattoo artist HENRY HATE said he and the Rehab singer had been talking about a new design for months.

He said: "I didn't ask her what her reasons were. I imagined she wanted to move on. She was just, like, 'It needs to go'."

Hate dismissed reports Winehouse had been planning to have the tattoo removed with laser surgery.

He said: "She wanted it covered."
