KABWE Warriors captain Vias Mwendalubi has said his team will not hand visiting league leaders Zanaco and favourites for the 2009 FAZ Super Division championship the title on a silver platter when the teams meet today in a Week 30 game at Railway Grounds.

Zanaco must win the season-deciding match away to Warriors to oust 2007 and 2008 Super Division champions Zesco United and collect their fifth league crown this decade.

Both second placed Zesco and Zanaco are on 60 points from 29 matches although the latter has a superior goal difference.

A draw or loss for Zanaco at ninth-placed Warriors on 37 points and a win for Zesco at home who host relegation -hreatened Chambishi will see Fighton Simukonda's side retain the title for a third successive season.

Mwendalubi said Warriors have no sympathy for Zanaco or Zesco and that they were out to collect the three points despite begin out of the relegation fight.

He said Warriors were also out to avenge their 1-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Zanaco in Week 15 at Sunset Stadium on June 27.

"It will be a revenge game," Mwendalubi said ".They cannot beat us twice in a season especially at home.

"There is nothing like feeling sorry for them because they want to win the league we have a winning bonus to collect from the club so we have to win."

Zanaco come into this match bruised from their 1-0 home defeat last Wednesday at the hands of City of Lusaka in a game they should have won to make Sunday’s fixture against Warriors a mere formality.

Coach Wedson Nyirenda will have an almost full squad available led by Chipolopolo winger Allan Mukuka including strikers Makundika Sakala and Winston Kalengo.

He is also pleased that two other Chipolopolo players namely defender Charles Siyingwa and goalkeeper Joshua Titima have been excused from Senior Challenge Cup duty to play against Warriors.

Meanwhile, Zesco will become one of the four sides to retain the league title three times after Mufulira Wanderers, Warriors and Nkana if they beat Chambishi and Warriors upset Zanaco.

Zesco hosts 11th-placed Chambishi who are fighting to stay in the Super Division after being promoted this year.

Zesco have an edge over Chambishi, coming into this match after beating them 1-0 away in June.

The hosts will be counting on the form of striker Jackson Mwanza who scored a lone goal in the first left to complete his and Zesco's double over Chambishi this season to keep them in with a chance of retaining their league title.

And Chambishi will be hoping results at number 10 side Konkola Blades, 12th-placed Roan United and 13th position Dynamos will go in favour of their opponents to ensure they survive.

Blades await relegated Zamtel, Dynamos host Forest Rangers while Roan are away to demoted Young Arrows.

The four candidates will all be hoping to avoid being the fourth team to join Zamtel, Nakambala Leopards and Young Arrows down to Division One.

Power Dynamos and Green Buffaloes who met in the Barclays Cup final yesterday in Lusaka will play their Week 30 matches against Red Arrows and Choma Eagles respectively on Wednesday.
