TWO Zimbabwean drivers will take part in the fifth round of the Zimbabwe-Zambia rally championship which flags off today at Chrismar Hotel in Lusaka.
Rally organiser Sam Chinga'mbu said Jamie Whyte, who recently won the Monze rally and Dave Robinson, will represent Zimbabwe.
"Only two drivers from Zimbabwe are being expected, Jamie and Robinson," he said.
Chinga'mbu named the local drivers in the rally as Muna Singh, Azim Ticklay, Muhammed Essa, Ashishi Patel, Joseph Fulamenga, Paul Monge, Ken Mukosa and Fred Wamala.
He said flag-off from Chrismar Hotel will be at 15:00 hours to the motor club in the showgrounds and return at Chrismar at 16:00 hours.
Chinga'mbu said the first car is expected to depart Chrismar Hotel at 8:00 hours on Saturday for DA Goldon Sable farms in Chisamba area.
He said the rally sponsored by Protea Hotel will cover a total distance of 300.5 kilometres.
