ZAMBIA Episcopal Conference (ZEC) president Archbishop Ignatius Chama has called on Zambians to bury their differences during Esther.
In an Easter interview, Archbishop Chama said "Jesus died for us on this earth so that we could be reconciled with God, with one another and society".
"And I believe all of us can believe in that and put our differences aside," Archbishop Chama said.
That a man named Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and rose from the dead is an amazing fact, amongst many amazing facts.
But what makes this particular fact so important for the world? The feast of Easter celebrates Christ's resurrection, not simply because it happened, but because it has permanently transformed our world for the good. Christ's death and resurrection has brought an immense value to our humanity, and shown us how we may best live our lives.
